Hello, we are having trouble downloading .MP4 files that are vertical onto our iPhones. The files are only about 15-17 MB and our phones have plenty of storage space. We are trying to download from Dropbox. When we download horizontal videos with the same specs they download just fine to our Camera Roll. However, it keeps telling us that the vertical videos cannot be saved. Any tips Thanks!
Note that these are not two different pieces of video content, or a playlist; rather, they are the same video, provided in two different codecs. Browsers that support webm will preferentially download the (smaller, faster to load) .webm file; browsers that do not will load the .mp4 version. Attributes in the video tag will apply to both versions.
When considering whether MP4 or MOV is better, you should think about the specific use you have in mind. Both container files, MOV and MP4, use MPEG-4 compression. MOV generally has better quality due to the fact that they have not been compressed as heavily. Purely judging based on file quality, MOV is often better, but not always. MP4 is more widely used, and it is also usually more efficient when it comes to file size. This means that you can use MP4 files for streaming, uploading, and downloading. When speed is a consideration, smaller MP4 files might be a better option.
If you have an older model of DJI flying with the DJI Go 4 app (such as the Mavic Pro), there is one other method of downloading videos to your phone. It is done with a combination of the steps in the previous two methods.

The drones play in many scenes throughout the film (in shots rendered by both DD and Pixomondo). In one early scene, Jack discovers the dilapidated Jets stadium where he repairs a downed drone. Digital Domain added weathered and broken stadium seating and the drone, which was augmented with heat haze from its exhaust and a laser scanner effect.
Follow the instructions on the Web site to download and install the codec for the file. If the Web site doesn't automatically find a codec for the file, and if either of the following conditions is true, go to step 3:
OnSign TV supports several video formats, such as MKV, AVI, MP4, MPG and MPEG. If you try to upload any other format however, the OnSign TV platform will display an uploading error message. Other video formats must be converted to any of the supported file formats. This includes MOV, the format for Apple's QuickTime. To convert MOV to MP4, you can either download a software or use your computer's default settings.
It may not be a supported codec. Without specifics one really can't say it worked in 7 but not in 8. DJI may support more than one codec. You'd want to test this specific file in ScreenFlow 7.3.2 to know that for sure. If you can't tell what codec the file is you can post a link so we can download and check it for you.
CraigS Thanks for the suggestion - but I have downloaded Handbrake and cannot work out how to do this kind of conversion - or what to convert it to If you have downloaded the file already and found that it does not work in Screenflow, you and tech team might be better placed than me know how and to what format to convert it
